Dear Dad,
Here’s some advice on advice.
Take advice from someone who’s done what you’re trying to do.
There’s a lot of people giving food advice out there. Sometimes it’s good to pause and assess how that advice seems to be working for them.
Is their health, vitality, and lifestyle one that you want to emulate? If it isn’t think twice. Don’t let the same people distract you either. People will question your eating habits, theories, and intentions. If choosing to eat healthier you may feel like an outcast at times. That’s fine. When it comes to the mainstream of American eating— being an outcast is probably best.
